Sam is my newest prospect. I recently purchased her from Michael Blake of Ascot Stud. We are currently entered and accepted into the 2017 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover. As well we will be starting to get out competing in the spring.

Buddy is my newest special edition, I purchased him in June from Need You Now Equine. He was still a colt and it was a very abrupt decision. He originated from the infamous Hooman Akbary who built a breeding business in Ontario and then due to financial debt, abandoned the farm. Buddy went through 3 auctions where he was bought, attempted to be flipped for profit, and returned to another auction. I am very thankful for the watchful folks from Second Start Thoroughbreds who tried to keep tabs on all of the horses in attempts to keep their bloodlines straight. I am excited for Buddy's future, I have recently backed him and he is proving to be an honest, willing little horses! I look forward to eventing with him and building our partnership.

Vicbrenan started her life as a racehorse, like many Thoroughbreds. She was sired by Ascot Knight, one of Canada's leading Thoroughbred racehorse sires. She was retired after a short career winning her initial first couple races. She was bred to a number of leading sires during her time as a broodmare. I came across her while training for her breeder in attempts to sell of his stock since he was getting out of racing. We had an instant connect. I knew I had to purchase this horse. And she proved to be a good purchase. Like many Ascot Knight offspring she was blessed with the quirky and arrogant attitude which can be difficult. But also this attitude can come in handy, Vic is a very special horse who does not say no to a challenge, and does not have it in her heart to refuse a jump. We have enjoyed several years together hunting, doing dressage and eventing. We did as many lesson with Eddo Hoestra as time would allow, we also have participated in clinics with Olympic Eventing Team member Gary Roque, and Classical Dressage Master Walter Zettl. Both who had nothing but praise and compliments as to what a great horse Vic is.

My lovely daughter of Vicbrenan came off the track with an unfortunate accident which left her with a large coffin bone chip. She is dressage/pleasure sound, but not suitable for eventing. She has been leased out for the 2014-1015 breeding season and was the only mare on the farm to catch! I am very excited to see her 2015 foal to the KWPN stallion Magnifiek!
